Choose oral or rectal – Mercury-free and water-resistant – Our clinical thermometers provide Fahrenheit temperature readings in an easy-to-read LCD. Each comes with a memory capable of storing the last temperature taken and displaying readings for as long as the power button is depressed. They also include an audible alarm that signals once at start-up and then for a maximum of 10 beeps when peak temperature is attained. An automatic turn-off feature activates after 5 minutes of inactivity. Choose from thermometers designed for oral or rectal use; Thermometers 16811-100R and -500R have a red cap to identify them as rectal. Thermometers 16811-100 and -100R include five probe covers while Thermometer 16811-HTK comes with 20. Probe covers for rectal thermometers are prelubricated.
